“ MATAWAN: Aby's Mexican Restaurant serves up traditional Mexican cuisine and their outdoor patio is dog friendly! The food is so fresh and delicious and we obsessively ate their chips and salsa, tacos, and fajitas! We also enjoyed a sangria flavored soda which really hit the spot on a warm day. The outdoor space is in the back and you are greeted by a cute entryway into the fully tented space. The wait staff is on the ball and the food comes out fast! Downtown Matawan is also a cute area to walk around, but there are a lot of vehicles in the area due to the train station. There are a couple of small parks nearby and scenic Lake Lefferts! ”
